The foundation of connection
Acceptance and belonging are basic human needs — as essential as food and safety. We cannot truly thrive unless we feel valued, supported, and connected to the people around us. Even small daily face-to-face interactions can bring us closer and reduce stress.
Real stories, real change
In the film “Togetherness – You, me and us”, colleagues from the DOVISTA Polska Sales Support team explore this through the “Value of connection” experiment. Over five days, they shared lunches, opened up to colleagues they did not know so well, and discovered what happens when appreciation is expressed out loud.

How to start today
Value of connection
Science shows that strong social bonds can reduce stress, strengthen the immune system, and support long-term wellbeing. Feeling valued can increase motivation, lower burnout, and strengthen team performance. Even small acts of appreciation can build trust, strengthen emotional stability, and help people feel more connected.*
Try small changes in how you connect with colleagues to create more trust, openness, and a stronger sense of belonging.
Take a walk or have lunch with a colleague you do not usually spend time with, and use it as an opportunity to get to know each other better.
Show appreciation to a colleague by expressing what you genuinely value about them.
Set aside time as a team to reflect on each other’s strengths and contributions.
