VKR Group awards

Two awards to celebrate exemplary achievements
The Villum Kann Rasmussen Award and Lars Kann-Rasmussen Safety Award honour colleagues across the VKR Group for their achievements and for the way they bring the Model Company Objective to life in their daily work.

Villum Kann Rasmussen Award

First awarded in 1996, the Villum Kann Rasmussen Award honours employees who embody the spirit of the VKR Group.

The award celebrates those who go above and beyond their job description and recipients are recognised for their commitment, creativity, initiative, and support for their colleagues.

More than 370 colleagues from 68 VKR Group companies have now received this recognition.

Lars Kann-Rasmussen Safety Award

The Lars Kann-Rasmussen Safety Award recognises extraordinary actions within workplace safety, honouring recipients for their inspirational conduct, proactive approach, and courageous decisions that prevent accidents and set new standards for safety.

Since 2026, the award also celebrates outstanding contributions to psychological safety, highlighting that a truly safe workplace values both physical protection and mental well-being.

Lars Kann-Rasmussen, son of VKR Group Founder Villum Kann Rasmussen, is a central figure in the VKR Group and his dedication to promoting safety and paving the way for innovative approaches is inspiring to us all.

Villum Kann Rasmussen Award
