Mission and vision FAQs
Your partner, spouse, or child is considered part of your immediate family if you are a VKR Group employee.
Children and stepchildren are considered under this definition up to the age of 30.
A community project must be located within 50 km of a VKR Group company and should focus on items or facilities of lasting value—for example, playground equipment, football goals, or similar. We do not fund running costs, trips, or one-off events.
The Employee Foundation is not a sponsor. However, we do encourage co-branding to ensure that the Foundation is visible and recognised in the communities where employees work and live.
VELUX, DOVISTA, and KOMPAS are family and foundation-owned companies. The businesses aim to create sustainable earnings, which belong to the owners. The owners then distribute funds to various foundations.
The Employee Foundation is an independent entity that uses these funds to support employees, their immediate families, and local communities. It does not act as a sponsor or commercial donor in a business context.
