How to apply to the Employee Foundation
Please submit your application to the Employee Foundation electronically, through our application portal. The Employee Foundation’s board of directors review applications four times a year during the scheduled meetings. To be considered, we recommend submitting your application in plenty of time ahead of one of the meetings, and before the deadline as outlined below.
Application process for the Employee Foundation
As an employee, you, your immediate family, and non-profit associations in the vicinity of VKR Group companies can apply directly to the Employee Foundation. If you need further support, you are welcome to contact your local Recommendation Committee who can guide you.
Submission of application
When you submit an application, please double check that all relevant information and supporting documents are included. Once we have your application, it will be assessed by the local Recommendation Committee.
Validation and possible follow-up
The local Recommendation Committee will review your application but may reach out to you for additional information if needed.
Forwarding to the Employee Foundation
If your application is approved by the local Recommendation Committee, it will be sent to the Employee Foundation’s secretariat. The secretariat will then process the application ahead of a final evaluation by the board of directors. Please ensure you submit your application with plenty of time to be included in the next review process.
Board review and response
After the board meeting, the local Recommendation Committee will be informed of the outcome of your application. The committee will then reach out to let you know the result.

Please note that, if needed in case of emergency, recommendation committees and the Employee Foundation may be able to evaluate applications on a fast track.

You can read about the Employee Foundation support areas on the website, here. You can also use the eligibility tool to get an indication if your application is within the scope of the Employee Foundation.
Documents depend on the situation but enclose only what you believe is necessary to justify the application, e.g. medical record in case of illness, copy of study card/education admission letter in case of education, quotation for equipment in case of non-profit organisation.
In general, you cannot edit the application after submission, but you can contact your local Recommendation Committee if you want to inform them of important changes in your application.
There are four board meetings per year. You can expect the result of your application Mid-April, End-June, End-September, Mid-December.
