The annual meeting of the Employee Foundation was held on 22-23 March. The board had the opportunity to visit Living Places in Copenhagen, an experimental project with the participation of VELUX A/S. It shows existing possibilities for building inspiring and sustainable buildings.
In addition, human physiologist, researcher and lecturer, Chris MacDonald gave the board a presentation on healthy lifestyles. Important elements from it will be included in the considerations of the foundation’s future programmes.
The meeting granted just over DKK 3.7 million for employee purposes (135 grants in connection with unfortunate events and 72 educational grants for employees’ children), and about DKK 0,6 million for 31 local, non-profit projects.
Lisbeth Nyløkke Jørgensen had decided to resign from the board, and in her place Madalina Petrescu was elected new board member.
